Celebrate in Sweet Style at the Manor House

The Manor House at The Houstonian recently opened to the public with Executive Chef Neal Cox’s new Spring Menu! This historical landmark, built by famed architect John Staub, also has three private rooms for toasting, partying and celebrating in style.

To mark the occasion, Manor House is offering a glass of champagne, “sweet treats” from the property’s own Pastry Kitchen as party favors, and a commemorative glass wine trivet with each private party entrée through June.

Before the house was turned into a restaurant, it was once home to President George H.W. Bush when he was Director of the CIA and Vice President of the United States. He hosted world leaders in its walls for the historic G7 Summit in 1990 and the Summit Treaty was signed in its Botanical Room. Now that lovely room, decorated in an English Manor style and the Gold Room which was the original dining room of the home, plus an intimate Wine Room, serve as private event spaces with LOADS of personality.

Manor House is open for lunch guests and private luncheons, Monday through Friday, 11:00 am–2:00 pm.
