Houston Restaurant Weeks 2016

Dine out and DO GOOD at Houston Restaurant Weeks (HRW) – a five week long passport to the city’s top restaurants and award-winning chefs! The single largest fundraiser for America’s largest food bank returns August 1 thru Labor Day on September 5. 🙂

For 36 days, enjoy specially priced, multi-course prix-fixe menus from a wide variety of fine dining and casual neighborhood restaurants. The first list of participating restaurants is available now on the official HRW website with new additions being added thru July 31. Over 200 expected locations in all this year!

HRW is run by volunteers and 100 percent of the donations raised from area restaurants go directly to their respective county food banks. Participating restaurants make donations based upon how many brunches, lunches and dinners they sell during the event. Last year’s event raised a record breaking $1.9 million!

Reservations may be required by some restaurants – others are accepting walk-ins. Either way, experience an exceptional meal and provide much-needed relief for families suffering from hunger…a win/win!

New in 2016:

A $25 dinner option that includes a $4 donation from the restaurant to the food bank. The food bank will be able to generate 12 meals per $25 HRW dinner sold.
