Sometimes it’s fun to get out of town even if it’s just for a day. I found a really cool restaurant in Austin that specializes in oysters – offering up to 10 varieties every day – and ceviches. The trendy restaurant is called Parkside, and it’s easy to find on 6th street.
The chef’s impressive resume includes Uchi, Caf Boulud, Domaine Chandon and Jean Luc Bistro.
Their drink menu is creative, but to pair with our oysters and ceviche we chose a South African Sauvignon Blanc called Mulderbosch Stellenbosch.
