In the heart of Napa right on the famous Highway 29 sits a gem of a winery…Salvestrin Winery. On a recent stay in Napa, we stayed at the Salvestrin Winery’s B&B—what a treat! This nearly century old home is beautifully decorated in early American style. Breakfast started with a fabulous coffee cake (I have the recipe), fresh fruit and than to top it all off – a delicious frittata.
Salvestrin Winery is third generation owned and operated by the Salvestrin family…another reason to visit this delightful winery.
The wines are very good – I particularly liked their Cabernet Sauvignons, and their Super Tuscan is not to be missed. Salvestrin is centrally located right on Hwy 29 just near the charming town of St. Helena. You can taste wines inside the tasting room or on the comfortable patio with a birds-eye view of the beautiful vineyards. You’ll enjoy the winery and the family who makes all that fabulous wine.
