Nothing like a steak challenge on a 100 degree Texas afternoon. The scorching heat had nothing on the amazing, blazing steaks in the competition.
The Beringer Great Steak Challenge is a nationwide competition where finalists from about 10 regions across the country will compete for cash prizes and a chance to appear on national TV on the Fine Living Network.
I had the fun task of being one of the judges for the Soutwest regional finals and was thrilled that Chera Little from Wimberley Texas took first place! Her Pecan Encrusted Gorgonzola Butter Steak was delicious.
