Prince William and Kate’s visit to the U.S. calls for an encore! I’ll admit I can’t get enough of watching the engaging, charming couple as they make their way across this continent. I’m hooked!
The most popular recipe I’ve ever posted on Goodtaste.tv is Prince William’s groom’s cake. I had the distinct pleasure of working with Royal Chef Darren McGrady a couple of times, and he shared the handsome prince’s favorite dessert with me. Darren was Princess Diana’s chef when she and the boys lived at Kensington Palace.
Chocolate lovers–you’ll love it! The no-bake cake is super simple and full of rich, chocolaty flavor. The ‘biscuits’ or butter cookies in the batter add a fun touch of crunch.
The Royal Chef also shared a recipe for a delicious tenderloin with a Burgundy chocolate sauce plus Prince Andrew, ‘Randy Andy’s’ favorite dessert…a creme brulee that the Brits call ‘burnt creme.’
The links will take you to the recipes. While you’re on my website, be sure to sign up for my newsletter for a chance to win a free weekend at the Houstonian Hotel. Talk about royal treatment–massages at Trellis the spa are included!
BTW, the Royal Chef has a fabulous cookbook called ‘Eating Royally.’ I’ve used it many times…always for my most special guests.
