It’s time to get fancy, Houston, and for a good cause! On Thursday, November 10th Le Grand Salon de La Comtessa at the beautiful La Colombe d’Or hotel will host “A Taste OF TUTS” charity wine dinner to benefit the TUTS Education Program; a Houston based non-profit institution dedicated to providing instruction and stage experience for more than 21,000 students annually. There is one common goal – to expand arts access to children of all abilities.
The evening will feature a multi-course meal expertly prepared by award-winning Chef Jeramie Robison, currently with Cinq at La Colombe d’Or and formerly with The Mansion on Turtle Creek, along with an esoteric selection of premier French wines to be paired Sommelier Richard Arnold! I first heard about Jeramie from a friend of mine who was Princess Diana’s personal chef – Royal Chef Darren McGrady. Darren worked with Jeramie once and when Darren found out I was going to be working in Houston, he insisted I go see Jeramie. We did, and his dinner was incredible!
Festivities for the ‘Taste of Tuts’ will get underway with a champagne reception at 6:30 p.m., featuring passed hors d’ oeuvres, followed by a wine seated wine dinner at 7.
Individual tickets are $500 per person, with tables of 8 priced at $3,500. Sponsorship packages are also available! Be sure to contact Elizabeth DeWerff-Fahnders at 713-558-2658 or at ElizabethD@TUTS.com. You can also visit www.TUTS.com/WineDinner.
