You Need Nicha’s Chilaquiles!

Every year, millions of folks come to San Antonio, not only to visit the legendary Alamo, but also to feast upon amazing Mexican food. You’re looking at my all-time favorite dish, the chilaquiles, from one of the city’s best Tex Mex haunts – that’s Nicha’s! It’s been thirty five blissful years for owner Arthur Garcia and his family, ever since his mother started the restaurant back in 1977.

One of their very first items quickly grew to become a staple…cheesy chilaquiles I can’t get enough of! Goodtaste cameras got a sneak peak behind kitchen doors to see how they make’em!

Diet or not, anyone can see that the variety of enchiladas you’ll find at Mi Tierra’s is difficult to resist. Their Tex Mex rendition may be the top seller, but I’m a sucker for well-made mole! Fresh ingredients and fervent flavor…
