If the cozy Cotton Gin Village is a treasure, then its resident restaurant, Cabernet Grill, is the real gem! On my last visit, Executive Chef Ross Burtwell brought me behind kitchen doors for his super simple Peach & Pecan Cobbler. It’s made with the same Texas Hill Country peaches that we’ve all grown accustomed to around these parts! Here’s a similar dessert Ross introduced me to last year…his Honey Lavendar Peach Crisp. After just about a half an hour in the oven, our cobbler is glossy, golden and good to go! We topped ours with a generous scoop of cinnamon ice cream and a few freshly picked blackberries…
