Janette Nowak is aiming for the stars! A resident of Spring, Texas, Janette’s husband David reached out to Goodtaste to spread the good word about his wife’s incredible burger-making abilities. That’s no boast — Janette has earned it. For the second year in a row, her burger recipe was selected as one of five finalists in a contest that sees up to 6,000 entries!
Last year in Chicago, Janette was the runner up to the champion who won the $100,000 first prize. This years Sutter Home event is back in Napa Valley, California. The finalists (plus a guest) are flown out “all expenses paid” for four fabulous days in Wine Country. This year, those dates are May 15-19.
Janette’s Razzle Dazzle Burger was one of ten finalists in the Sutter Home 2012 Build a Better Burger recipe contest. According to David, she has a true passion for cooking and longs to eventually make the best burger in the nation — period!
Janette has been practicing every weekend to get the process down and under the two hour time limit. Family, friends and neighbors are constantly coming by to sample her delectable burger. I’m not surprised in the slightest! What a feat! Keep up the good work Janette. 😉
