Join Goodtaste in the Sysco Houston kitchens as we check in with Executive Chef Ojan regarding a revolutionary chicken product — one that’s also exclusive to Sysco!
These double-lobed “sized random” chicken breasts are anywhere from 10 – 15 ounces and have been prepped using a tumble method…no needles or anything poking into the flesh with the marinade. As it is under vacuum, the muscle fibers in the chicken open up allowing the marinade to penetrate. Purity at its peak!
Watch as Chef Ojan breaks down how to adapt this radical poultry for yet another superb recipe…Monterey Stuffed Chicken.
Seasoned in a smoky, chili cumin rub and stuffed with Gulf Brown Shrimp, locally made chorizo, and two kinds of cheese (in addition to a few remaining ingredients), we plated our gorgeous golden chicken in grand fashion, cascading down a bed of Sysco Imperial Spanish Rice…the perfect robust side.
Slice your chicken on a sharp angle to reveal all of the steamy goodies inside. The aromas are AMAZING! Bake in the oven for 18 to 20 minutes for a beautiful result.
