If you’re starting out the New Year with visions of a new you, (aren’t we all), then there’s a new restaurant in town worthy of your attention. Seasons 52 calls itself a fresh grill and wine bar that features seasonally inspired menus.
The Red Mole Beef Tacos come three to an order and were filled with tender brisket, pickled onions and a tasty jalapeño slaw. One squeeze of the fresh lime slice and it was a delightful bite.
The tuna burger has an Asian twist and is served with a wasabi slaw. Both entrees, calorie-wise, would work with almost any New Year’s resolutions to cut calories.
Plus, Seasons 52 offers an extensive and well-priced wine list. Even if you’re cutting calories, a glass of wine every once in awhile is an apt reward.
And dessert fans, yes, you will be tempted. But, you can still refrain from overindulging. The desserts like chocolate/peanut butter mousse and key lime pie are served in miniature—plenty to satisfy that sweet tooth but not big enough to crash your diet.
The large restaurant is warm and inviting with its wood paneled dining room and cozy booths that wrap the walls. There’s even a piano in the bar where live music is featured on the weekends.
There are currently two locations – one in City Center and the other at 4410 Westheimer. Even the strictest of diets deserves a tiny indulgence once in awhile!
