Throughout March, we’re celebrating historical women, female winemakers and favorite female chefs. It’s Women’s History Month! We also want to celebrate YOU, our extended ‘wine sisterhood’.
There’s a unique group of women who came together to start a company that produces wines women love. They’ve created an extended family called The Wine Sisterhood, a fun, large social group, who not only connect online, but also through different events throughout the year.
Now is your chance to meet some of the amazing Texas women who are shaping the way we eat and drink. Each woman is incredibly talented and accomplished as you’ll see in the videos below.
In interviewing them for this story, I found a few common threads of emotion they all share…
First and foremost, they’ve all worked extremely hard to get to where they are today. These women love what they do (most days), and they all say that self doubt and insecurity come with the territory.
I hope you’ll enjoy their stories as much as I did. Cheers to the incredible women in the culinary world!

Back to the unique winemakers I spoke of earlier–after all, all good food deserves a good wine. And GUYS, just because the wine makers had women in mind when they produced these wines doesn’t mean you won’t like them too. You can find these fun wines at your local H-E-B from women who have helped shape the wine industry. Why not raise a glass:
