All in favor of a #FluffernutterRevolution, say “I”! Pastry Chef Rebecca Masson, aka Houston’s Sugar Fairy, has been baking since her college days and certainly creates some enticing magic in the kitchen.
Her famous, creamy peanut butter Fluffernutters will hook you, and no diet in the world will keep you from going back for more.
Rebecca is a majorly talented woman with an endearing personality and genuineness as you’ll see in the video. In no easy feat, she just met her goal of $50,000 on Kickstarter to open her own brick and mortar shop in the Bayou City later this year.
Her impressive resume includes formal training at Le Cordon Bleu Paris, working in the prestigious kitchens at Daniel Boulud’s ‘Daniel’ restaurant in Manhattan and a recent stint on Bravo’s Top Chef Just Desserts!
Now that she’s in the position to influence others, specifically young women looking to follow in her steps, Rebecca is surprisingly candid about her culinary journey and seeks to empower her fellow female foodies to do the same.
We toasted her achievements in honor of Women’s History Month with a glass of Middle Sister Goodie Two-Shoes, a fruit forward California Pinot Noir. Rebecca tells me she loves wine and prefers the fruit forward styles.
Try her highly addictive recipe for Ginger Molasses Cookies…
Rebecca and her baked goods are on the fast track to success — and the customers keep coming!
