Major renovations for Rainey Street in Austin! The interior of No Va Kitchen & Bar is contemporary, boasting a dual sided fireplace, full-service bar and balcony seating which makes the most of natural light.
The two-story structure has a modern flair to contrast the otherwise historic buildings that have come to surround it. It’s also home to one of the best patios in the area!
No Va (a Spanish phrase meaning “it doesn’t go”) is the dream child of chef/owner Brad Sorenson (Food Network Star, Chopped) with adventurous, yet approachable dishes and a menu that offers home-spun twists on sophisticated classics.
Chef Brad has a new summer-inspired menu to tempt you with, and shared two recipes with Goodtaste: his wildly fresh Grilled Watermelon Salad [above] made with baby kale, basil, toasted pistachios, diced watermelon and crumbled goat cheese.
And from the bar their Taquachè [left] — a tequila-based craft cocktail complete with a grapefruit garnish. Enjoy!
