Simple summer treats never looked so fancy! Goodtaste’s registered dietitian, Rosie Benner, has some delicious desserts served ice-cold for summer. Make these after a dinner party and your guests may never leave!
Watch our short cooking demonstration above, as Rosie carefully guides you through every step. We also have the recipes in print for you below. Use a spoon and savor every last bite…
First up, her Presto Limoncello Italian Ice. Crushed ice, Limoncello, honey, lemon juice, plus the rinds as well. Serve this smooth frozen delight in sherbet cups and presto!
Next came her 5 Minute Mango Wine Sorbet. Can you guess how long it takes to create this frigid dessert? đ
Combine frozen mango chunks, your favorite Moscato and peach & mango preserve together in a food processor and freeze the remainder. You’re all done! The final presentation is so quaint and pretty…
Now onto something with chocolate…Rosie’s Chocolate Moca Raspberry Semifreddo. Slowly dissolve chocolate chips into a melted concoction of coffee, instant coffee, rum and sugar. Set aside and let the mixture cool in the freezer until needed.
Whip some heavy whipping cream together with your strained raspberry puree and chocolate mixture for a lovely swirl effect. Evenly divide into muffin tins and freeze for several hours (or overnight).
These are incredible…and taste even better than they appear! More ways than one to really chill this summer. Enjoy!
