This next batch arrive courtesy of the Inn at Occidental in wine country. Comfort food from one of the most comfortable lodgings I’ve come across out there. Everything is so quaint and the cuisine is fresh and local. Their Orange Pancakes are no exception!
According to celebrated Celebrity Chef, Curtis Stone, for the freshest, fluffiest pancakes, prepare your batter just prior to cooking. If the batter sits too long, it will start to ferment, giving these breakfast goodies a sour flavor.
