On the First day of Christmas my true love sent to me…one amazing collection of holiday cocktails! We’ve gathered together some of our favorite spirits from Christmas Past, along with several new entries to our recipe section on Goodtaste.tv.
For all of the shopping, cooking, cleaning and hectic scheduling during this time, we figured it’s only fitting for you to make the most of holiday happy hour. Our inspiration, of course, stems from the Twelve Days of Christmas, beginning on December 25th and typically lasting thru January 5th, or Twelfth Night.
These LIQS ready to drink cocktail shots [above] are the perfect adult stocking stuffer. They also make seasonal entertaining at home or on the go a snap! They have fun flavors like Tequila Cinnamon & Orange and are low in calories and sugar:
This first set of newbies comes from downtown San Antonio’s Hotel Contessa — thanks to Mixologist Shana Nettles at their Cork Bar. Regular specialities there include the Melon Mojito, Yellow Rose Martini and Cork’s Thai Basil Margarita. Now that the holidays have hit, we’re seeking out seasonal ingredients like cranberry, peppermint, as well as options with chocolate, mint or pumpkin.
The following two libations are rich, lush and over the top!
Stoli Vanilla, Peppermint Schnapps, Godiva white chocolate liquor, simple syrup
Malibu, Chocolate liquor, Cream
And toast the season with three imaginative recipes from the Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa…
Tito’s watermelon-infused Vodka martini garnished with basil leaf from the resort’s herb garden.
Rudolph’s Ruby Red
Deep Eddy’s Ruby Red topped with soda and a squeeze of fresh grapefruit garnished with a grapefruit wedge.
Yule Tide Mule
1 part Enchanted Rock Vodka; 2 parts ginger beer; fresh lime squeeze and garnished with fresh lavender.
