Kale’s popularity seems to have exploded in the last few years, enjoying quite the reputation with health conscious celebs and industry trendsetters alike.
I’ll admit, it’s not the first green I reach for. But I do love something different…and diverse. Salad dressing isn’t merely applied to this particular veggie, one ‘massages’ it in for best flavor. You can freeze kale, say, for frozen smoothies. Or sauté it for a stew. If it’s baked or dehydrated, you’ve got a fibrous snack in kale chips. 🙂
