The true Greek meal consists of a number of small offerings presented all at once. The various plates are made to cover almost every nutritional element. We’re talking authentic flavors at Passport Greece; rich and bountiful foods like marinated fresh octopus and rich, flaky baklava–plus wines of the Mediterranean islands.
Greek cuisine is an integral part of Greek culture. Expect an ‘immersive culinary adventure’ with a variety of traditional Greek food. World-renowned chefs and winemakers sharing Greek-centric recipes and wine tastings should be a real treat!

Wednesday, May 6 – Greek Classics
Learn to make iconic Greek dishes at the Central Market Cooking School.
Some menu items include: Dolmades (Rice, Pine Nut & Currant- stuffed Vine Leaves); and Moussaka (Layered Casserole with Eggplant, Ground Beef & Bechamel Sauce).
Friday, May 8 – Smashing Plates
Join Chef Maria Elia as she smashes outdated notions of traditional Greek food and gives the cuisine a thorough shake up. Some menu items include: Moussaka-spiced Popcorn; Carrot Keftedes with Carrot Tabbouleh & Tahini Sauce; and Chicken & Orzo Soup.
Tuesday, May 12 – Lamb on the Menu: Traditional Greek Preparations
Learn traditional Greek techniques for preparing lamb at home. Signature dishes will include: Keftedakia (Little Herbed Meatballs); Sousakakia Souvlaki (Ground Lamb Kebabs with Sorrel & Pine Nuts); and Arni me Freska Lahanika (Lamb Stew with Fresh Vegetables).
