I like to think of Harwood Grill on Westheimer as a Texas bistro; a top tier grill where heart-healthy Akaushi Beef rightfully gets all of the attention. From the massive Meatball on the menu, to the Harwood’s Fried Steak, Chefs Burger or the Boneless Short Rib, it’s all about the Akaushi – the highest grade of beef available from cattle raised in Texas that you may enjoy in-house or to-go.
You should know, Harwood has a very cool meat counter where you’re able to choose the cut of Akaushi you’d like to take home to cook – not without a few helpful grilling tips from Executive Chef Craig Bianco of course. 😉

The Meatball
8 oz fresh Akaushi ground Beef mixed with roasted veggies and Artesian cheese; pan seared; topped with house marinara, parmesan reggiano cheeses, served with a loaf of sourdough house bread and balsamic oil
Fried Steak
Akaushi prime strip loin hand cut and fried to order in ‘in-house’ batter, served with choice of garlic mashed potatoes and house gravy or house Idaho French fries
“San Francisco” Pan Seared Lump Crab Cakes
In-house daily prepared jumbo lump crab cakes – lightly pan seared and served with grain mustard remulade
Far Rockaway Beach Shrimp
Four jumbo shrimp stuffed with lump crab meat, fresh herbs and wrapped in apple wood bacon, baked and served with linguini pasta, garlic lemon butter sauce, East Coast style
