Autumn wines are hitting shelves just in time for this cooler weather!
Fans of Pinot Grigio will take to Pinot Gris. This Waterbrook is semi-dry and aromatic; a light, crisp, clean Pinot Gris with flavors of tropical fruit. It’s a great grab to go with any light dishes – seafood, salad – for around $13.
As always, count on Cabernet this season. This Vindicated release is %100 Cabernet Sauvignon, full bodied, with hints of oak and cassis. Some nice red fruit on this one too for around $20. Try pairing with duck or any grilled mushrooms…
Canoe Ridge’s Cherry Street is a flavorful blend of Merlot, Syrah and a tiny bit of Malbec. You’ll taste raspberry, cherry, blackberry with a very smooth finish! I love red wines out of Washington State. This one, like many others, is a little ‘softer’ than what you see coming out of Napa. The price point here is $25.
As we head into the holiday season, now’s the perfect time to stock up on your favorite bottles for a great price, when you visit your local H-E-B. Buy six or more bottles – mixed and matched – and receive 10% off your total purchase! This includes sparklings, 1.5 liter bottles as well as those items already on-sale!
