Coming up this weekend on Goodtaste with Tanji-
SILO | NOSH
Find the best of both worlds at Silo & Nosh in San Antonio. Upstairs at Silo is upscale with awe-inspiring American classics, while downstairs at Nosh is a cozy neighborhood Italian style bistro with over-the-top salads, pastas and sharable plates. The real star is the chef for both, a former Food Network Star finalist, serving up fresh takes on Old World tastes, no doubt inspired by his hometown of Torino, Italy.
Simple flavors prepared to perfection, whether you nibble at Nosh or dine in style at Silo!
IT’S ALL GOOD BBQ
Stick around because it really is all good at It’s All Good BBQ in Spicewood, TX. Dig in at this traditional Texas-style barbecue joint in the Texas Hill Country boasting fork tender briskets, lip smacking ribs and a whole bunch of awards. There’s also the famous Tater Tot Casserole you’ll be hard-pressed to pass on!
IZAKAYA
Hang up your 9 to 5, Houston, and head to Izakaya! This jewel of a Japanese gastropub is like no other in Midtown; a dazzling dining destination awash in color and art with a vibrancy all its own. Expect creative, eclectic plates made for sharing and infused with a global vibe. There’s the sizzling Yakisoba [top] with pan seared noodles, chicken and fresh veggies, all soaked in a sweet and tangy yakisoba sauce, then garnished with a plump poached egg! Or another house favorite, a twist on grilled Mexican Street Corn – unlike any we’ve had:
At Izakaya, drink is just as important as food. The restaurant boasts an extensive Japanese whiskey collection with 9 different flights to try. Sampling just about everything here is an adventure!
Plus…
My H-E-B Wine Finds of the week are ALL dessert wines! Great with your favorite seasonal sweets or dessert all by themselves… 😉

I enjoy your show (Houston TV) I recommend that you keep all the seasons and episode on one place. Where is say Austin Houston etc. you only place the restaurants that belong in that area so then when we travel we can try some of the places you have visited. Also it would be good to place the restaurants in their proper location and not in some other region e.g Houston.
So good show, but weak website
