You can’t beat a smoothie for a nutrient-dense breakfast with lots of flavor and fiber, which will help you feel fuller longer. We love this Green Smoothie recipe from our friends at Hope Farmers Market in Austin that packs iron-rich spinach in the mix and even flax seed, which is packed with fiber and Omega-3 essential fatty acids or the “good” fat! Not keen on going green? We promise you won’t taste the spinach with a loving helping of peach blended in there — it’s truly a stealthy smoothie!

We love this Strawberry Pear blend from Chef Nicola Smart that may help you use up those holiday gift pears. A spoonful of chia seeds gives this smoothie a protein boost, along with iron, magnesium, and a bit of calcium.

Lower Calorie Lunches with Loads of Flavor

Lunch time doesn’t have to be boring  — especially when its dressed in a delectable lemony lime Caesar dressing! This California Kale & Kamut Chicken Salad comes from my friends at Sysco Foods and it’s a stunner. You’ll look forward to lunch time, I promise!

It’s no secret soup is slimming! My “secret” recipe for slimming down after an especially indulgent holiday season is my “Fat Flush Soup.” It’s rich in antioxidants and brimming with flavor and fiber. The recipe originally came from Women’s World Magazine and it’s one of the most sought after recipes on Goodtaste!

Cauliflower has received a lot of attention the past few years with folks sneaking it into pizza crusts, pasta dinners, and now stir fry, thanks to meal prep service Terra’s Kitchen.
