Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ Marries Texans Two Favorite Foods

We love places that combine two of our biggest loves in Texas: Tex-Mex food and barbecue! At Valentina’s Tex Mex BBQ, these loves are fused at one place! Why not show your valentine some foodie love this year at this fun food trailer?

I’ve also included a few new wine finds that are great for pairing with grilled meats. Scroll below to check them out.

The family behind Valentina’s knows how to make good barbecue: low and slow, infusing spice and smoke along the way! It’s a spot that’s been named one of the Top 50 Barbecue Joints by Texas Monthly. They make fantastic breakfast tacos and sensational side dishes, including an amazing elote that’s smoked hours before its ever taken off the cob. We can’t say enough about their fajita tacos, with fajita meat that’s smoked for hours and very tender. Their juicy brisket falls right apart when you fork it and it is absolutely delicious.

For a fun date night, you’ll love Valentina’s fun atmosphere. You can sit outside or under a covered shed near the food trailer. Soon, you’ll be able to enjoy their delicious barbecue in a brick and mortar location they’re currently building.

My wine finds this week are great for pairing with barbecue and other smoked meats. Of course, you can find all of these at H-E-B.
