Spring is just around the corner and we’re all about it! We’re uncorking spring with all new wine finds that are perfect for lighter spring meals like salads and seafood.
I shared these wines with my friends at We Are Austin on KEYE CBS Austin — watch here! You can find them all at your local H-E-B.
You’ll love the Deor Cuvée from their Gold Collection. It’s called Extra Dry, because it has a little more fruit than a Dry or Brut. This one makes for a great aperitif for just $13 a bottle at H-E-B.
We’re loving the Honig Sauvignon Blanc from the Napa Valley. On Napa Sauvignon Blancs, you’ll get a rounder taste, versus some of the more citrusy flavors you’ll taste in a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc. The winery is very interesting — it’s totally sustainable and uses solar power. It’s great with seafood, salads and even some Gulf oysters. It’s about $13 a bottle at H-E-B.
The family of the Barone Fini Pinot Grigio has been making wine since the 16th century. The wines are made with older vines, so there are more complex flavors in these wines. You’ll taste some bright fruits here and it’s such a crisp wine! You can find this one for about $13 a bottle.
Josh Wines are always one of my go-to wines and their Rosé is quickly becoming a new favorite around here! This Rosé is a perfect porch wine and a really fun new wine for this amazing winery. You can find it for under $15 at H-E-B.
