Goodtaste with Tanji – Season 4 Episode 9

First, we pay a visit to one of my favorite neighborhood bakeries in San Antonio, BIRD Bakery. Make sure to save room for something sweet as we dig in to the enormous Monster Cookie, award-winning Carrot Cake and one of 2018’s “best cupcakes in America,” according to The Daily Meal. Next, we head to the Texas Honey Ham Company in Austin for you guessed it … sizzling honey-glazed ham! While the hams are the main attraction, don’t let the name fool you. At this charming family restaurant, they’re serving up everything from overflowing chopped salads to their legendary breakfast tacos. Then, we cap off the episode in Houston at the bustling breakfast joint, Pecan Creek Grille. Don’t miss the giant Banana Pecan Brioche French Toast doused in maple syrup, and dusted with powdered sugar with a side of housemade chorizo sausage.
