Dining out with the whole family can be difficult – especially when you’re trying to feed and entertain the little ones. I stop by to visit my friends at CBS Austin and tell them about the seven acres of fun at Wild Kitchen + Bar in Bee Cave, Texas. You’ll want to check out their crowd-pleasing wild game dishes, like the Venison Jalapeño Poppers, while the kids explore the mini golf course and jungle gym. Plus, I share three of my favorite, super-drinkable reds – all under $20! Catch the full segment here.
Tanji’s Wine Finds:
The Stoller Family Estate Pinot Noir reminds me of a wine from Burgundy. It’s not fruit-forward, so you’ll taste the tannic nuances that a Pinot should have. It’s good all by itself and pairs great with a juicy roast beef or a stew. $20
Educated Guess is gaining a huge following amongst wine drinkers. I’m enjoying their Cabernet Sauvignon North Coast. It’s a full-bodied wine with concentrated aromas of dark berries, plums, and a hint of cracked peppercorn. $20
This last pick will go perfectly with the cooler weather and the meats we typically serve during this time of year. The Ramon Bilbao Limited Edition Rioja is one of the best of the best. The family that runs this Spanish vineyard has been producing wine for over 100 years from old vine grapes, giving it incredible depth. $17
