With the crazy unpredictable weather here in Texas, we’re itching to pack our sweaters up and ready ourselves for something a little warmer. Now, it may not feel like it, but spring is just around the corner, so we should at least sip like it. Here are my three wine finds ready for spring, and as always, you can find these bottles at your local H-E-B.
We’re coming up on Rosé season – although, at my house, we drink Roses all year long. Check out this fantastic Aime Roquesante Rosé — it’s a classic Provence style wine that is dry with hints of strawberries and some nice minerality. Roses pair perfectly with all kinds of different foods including seafood, salad and even barbecue! $13
Next, a wine from one of my favorite regions: Southern France. This is the Gérard Bertrand Corbières, a grenache, syrah and mourvedre blend. This wine is meant to pair with food – like grilled or roasted meats or even Italian food. Let this one breathe for about 20 minutes after you open it, and then enjoy. $16
Last, we’ll end with a sparkling Rosé. The Charles de Fère Reserve Sparkling Rosé is another wine I drink all year long – bubbles are too delicious to only sip on certain occasions. This is a dry sparkling with lovely strawberry notes – lots of fruit on the nose and a very slight sweetness on the finish. $15
Watched your show for the first time today and enjoyed it very much. Am interested in the Chateau Buena Vista wine but did not hear if we can buy it on line or send for it. Do you have any additional information on this. I would appreciate it very much! Keep doing what you’re doing cuz you do it so well! Congrats on your show!
Hi Becky-thank you for the kind words. The Chateau Buena Vista Cab is available at many HEB stores. It is also available on their website at https://www.heb.com/search/?q=chateau+buena+vista Please let me know if you need anything else. 🙂
Can’t find the SB Dry Hop. Do you have any idea where it’s available?
H-E-B’s carry it. Have you tried there?
