Pastel Tres Leches
Blanca Aldaco has been credited for bringing this famous dish to San Antonio in 1989. Now, you can find this tender, moist cake at numerous restaurants across town. However, no one does it quite like her!
La Bonita Margarita
This premium margarita is made with only the best of the best! Tequila, Cointreau, Grand Marnier and fresh lime juice go into this top-notch drink that’ll make you wonder how you ever made a margarita any other way.
Ceviche
Zesty and refreshing, it’s time for you to try your hand at making ceviche at home. This approachable seafood dish has orange and lime juice and a spicy kick from four – yes, FOUR – chopped Serrano Peppers. If you don’t feel like you can take the heat, adjust the spice to your preference!
Breakfast Chile Relleno
The Chile Relleno originated in the city of Puebla, but Blanca gave this traditional dish a breakfast twist! Pancakes can take a backseat for this savory, spicy dish stuffed with fluffy scrambled eggs and smothered in a creamy poblano sauce.
“Grilled Cheese” Queso
This isn’t your ordinary cheese dip. This “Cazuelita de Rajas, Elote y Queso Panela” or Grilled Cheese Queso is made with seared Queso Panela and Crema Mexicana El Cacique and is as authentic as it comes.
