It is THE time of year to sit outside, soak up the sunshine and sip on a nice, crisp Rosé. Fruit-forward and refreshing, this blush wine pairs well with so many of our favorite summer foods. I visited my friends at CBS Austin and shared 3 foolproof Rosé picks, plus two easy cocktails you can make with our favorite warm-weather wine. Watch the segment here!
My Wine Finds:
If you’re a red wine fan, you’ll enjoy this pick. The Becker Vineyards Rosé is bolder in flavor than a typical Rosé and tastes of strawberries, dried cherries and fresh thyme. Despite the more pronounced fruit, it still has a nice light body. $11
Next, is an Argentinian find: the Finca El Origen Estate Malbec Rosé. This wine from the Mendoza region is not sweet, but has a lot of the classic fruit flavors with less minerality. $10
The Casal Garcia Vinho Verde Rosé is slightly effervescent bottle from Spain. This one is more fruit-forward than the other two and reminds me of sangria! $7
As always, thank you to our good friends at KEYE CBS Austin! You can find all of these wines at your local H-E-B or buy them online at HEB.com. Bonus: Get 10% off your entire purchase when you buy six or more bottles.
