Summer is heating up in Texas! If you’re searching for a way to cool down, look no further. My summer wine haul has got you covered! Chandon has released a sparkling rosé that is exploding with strawberry flavor. Fittingly named American Summer, it is fresh, fruity and perfect for a hot summer day. You can watch the video here.
Canned wine is all the rage this summer! Crafters Union will keep you cool and trendy with their beautifully canned wines. With rosé, red, and pinot grigio options you are sure to find a flavor to enliven your tastebuds. Be careful though, one can is equivalent to 2 ½ glasses of wine! If you are trying to introduce a beer lover to the world of wine, The Infinite Monkey Theorem offers canned wines that might do just the trick. Their Dry Hopped Sauvignon Blanc is the perfect marriage of flavors rendering the hoppiness of beer with the classic smoothness of wine.
Layer Cake’s Sauvignon Blanc presents a round yet light flavor that is ideal for relaxation and sipping your day away. If you enjoy fuller flavors, Boen’s Santa Lucia Highlands Pinot Noir is the one for you. Prepared from dark fruits, and releasing a luscious earthy flavor, this wine is the perfect way to wind down on a summer evening.
And let’s not forget about fabulous summer wines. View my wine finds from H-E-B below!

I searched for a long time to find a red wine that I liked. Most are way too dry for my taste. I find that Messina Hof Beau suits me just fine. So I guess I like a sweeter wine. It goes great with grilled lamb chops. Very reasonable at HEB.
