Tanji’s Fall Fav Wine Picks:
This first wine, A- Lo’s Pumpkin Brûlée, is actually not a wine but a pumpkin spice liqueur and is of course the perfect fall sip to pair with your coffee for a kicked-up latte. $16
Next up, Tanji is a big fan of Chardonnays and clever white wines for any season. This Macon-Lugny Les Charmes Chardonnay is a beautiful white which pairs with just about anything and can even be found in a lot of restaurants, a nice light compliment to deep fall flavors. $17
Finally, this “big red” wine is called The Stand and it takes a stand on Tanji’s list of reds. This is a Paso Robles blend mixed with both Syrah and Viognier, and in this case you can judge a wine by the label. This label is handmade by John James Audubon and is about as beautiful as the wine tastes. This very bold flavor is a perfect match to the fall colors and weather. $26
A special thanks to News Channel 2 KPRC in Houston for all the fun! As always, all of these bottles can be found at your local H-E-B.
