Now, more than ever is the time for us to come together. Families in our own community are struggling to make ends meet and put food on the table and companies like John Soules Foods, are stepping up to help out and putting a new meaning to “Soule” food.
Folks in the Texas Hill Country area, like everywhere else, have been hit hard by COVID-19 layoffs and closures. John Soules Foods donated over 37,000 pounds of food of its popular chicken breaded filets, fajitas and more to Hill Country Daily Bread to distribute to the individuals in need in the eight counties they serve. Not only does this local charity, with a lot of heart and soul provide food, but they also provide daily necessities such as clothes, furniture and personal hygiene products, offer family mentoring and more. It’s times like these that we can be grateful for the good in the world and we are here to share that!
