When it comes to seasonal produce, you can’t get any fresher than the farmers’ market! Tanji visited the New Braunfels Farmers Market to shares a few finds from the 70+ participating local farmers, ranchers, growers and artisans. PLEASE NOTE: Our video was shot before the pandemic (hence no one wearing masks), but in response to COVID-19, the market has taken many COVID-19 safety measures, including extra spacing between vendors and requesting that all vendors wear masks.
The New Braunfels Farmers Market is held every Saturday, yearround, 9 a.m.-1 p.m. in Historic Downtown New Braunfels at 186 S. Castell Avenue. In response to COVID, they’ve removed all onsite concessions, ready-to-eat foods, and entertainment in order to comply with local and state regulations. They have spread out the vendors to help with social distancing and asked all vendors to wear face masks and have hand sanitizer available at their booths. Get the latest updates and a list of the current vendors at the Market this week by visiting their website, HERE.
