February is Black History Month and this year, Central Market is celebrating by hosting a series of virtual cooking classes showcasing notable black chefs! Virtually cook alongside award-winners like celeb chef Marcus Samuelsson, chef Chris Williams from Houston’s Lucille’s, and chef Tiffany Derry from Dallas’ Roots Chicken Shak. You’ll learn how to make meals like roasted lamb chops with Senegalese peanut sauce and coconut gremolata and crispy chicken with roasted garlic-lemon pan sauce from start to finish, while learning about the chefs and hearing their incredible stories. Join in on the live, online classes by purchasing a $10 ticket here and order a grocery kit that serves 2-4 people and includes everything you’ll need for the class. (Ingredient kits can be picked up from noon to 5 p.m. one day prior to the class.)
Don’t miss this exclusive opportunity to expand your repertoire by cooking along with these talented, innovative chefs. You’ll pick up tips and enjoy an incredible meal at the end of class.
