Fall is here so Tanji wanted to dip into the world of Zinfandels and toss in a fun bubbly to celebrate Halloween. Zinfandels are a great food pairing wine and work well with a variety of dishes. Plus, bubbles are fun for any occasion! As always, all of these bottles (and many more!) can be found at your local H-E-B.
Up first, a very affordable option from Parducci Zinfandel in Mendocino, a producer that’s been making wines for 85 years! On the nose, you’ll get warm spices and then you’ll taste luscious blackberries and cherries and a hint of cocoa on the finish. This pick is perfect for barbecue, pizzas, hearty pastas and so much more. $13
Next, a pick that Tanji absolutely adores: the Brady Vineyard Zinfandel from Paso Robles. This wine delivers layers of ripe raspberry, rich vanilla and cracked black pepper. This wine is now a regular on Tanji’s table and she thinks it will be one of yours, too! $20
Nothing screams party like bubbly so we chose the Mia Bella Prosecco. This is a bright, refreshing prosecco from Venice with notes of citrus, a hint of melon and tons of tiny bubbles. Perfect to cheers with on any celebration. $14
Please note availability and prices may vary.

Just a point of information about Parducci in Mendocino. It is owned by a native Texan couple who have lived in California since he went to graduate school. My wife have been good friends with her since junior high in Houston.
