It’s one of my favorite times of the year—rosé season! We drink our favorite pink-hued wine year-round, but when spring rolls around, there’s even more reason to celebrate with this versatile wine. Perfect for pairing with just about anything or for sipping all on its own, here’s an assortment of bottles we’re excited about this year.
This Le Charmel Côtes de Provence Rosé is dry with hints of strawberry and bright acidity—fantastic characteristics to complement food. Here at Goodtaste, we drink rosé all year round and find that a bottle like this one pairs with practically everything, especially spicy foods. $16
This Westmount Pinot Noir Rosé has aromas of plum, white pepper, and raspberry. The palate is bright and balanced with notes of ripe strawberry, orange zest, and white plums—textured in the mid-palate with vibrant acidity to give the wine its bright finish. $17
If you’re a red wine fan, you’ll enjoy this pick. The Becker Vineyards Rosé is bolder in flavor than a typical rosé and tastes of strawberries, dried cherries, and fresh thyme. Despite the more pronounced fruit, it still has a nice light body. $11
Next, one of my favorite new rosé finds of the season: Calafuria Rosé by Tormaresca. You’ll taste lush tropical fruits and crisp mineral acidity on the finish. You can tell the vineyards are not far from the sea! $17
If you like a Provence-style rosé, you’re going to love the Fleurs de Prairie Rosé. This traditional bottle is dry and crisp but still has a lot of fruit notes. $15
The Hess Select California Rosé is made with Pinot Noir grapes. Compared to other rosés, this wine is more fruit-forward and you’ll get more body. This Napa find is crisp and bursting with notes of red berries and stone fruit, with perfectly balanced acidity on its elegant finish. $13
The McBride Sisters Black Girl Magic Rosé is a sophisticated dry wine with aromas of raspberry and orange blossom. It will pair beautifully with chocolate-covered strawberries, grilled fish, or your spring brunch spread. $21
