Let’s toast to warmer weather by popping the top off a bottle of wine, shall we? Summer is the perfect excuse to switch up what’s in your glass, so we’ve collected a few of our favorites for you, whatever your plans may be.
Pinot Grigio is the ultimate summer wine, and one of our preferred bottles is the Barone Fini Valdadige Pinot Grigio. Its crispness is accentuated with light floral and lemon aromas, and it pairs well with so many foods—pastas, salads, fruit—or just enjoy it all on its own for a relaxing evening on the patio. $13
The Urban Provence Rosé is a traditional Provence-style wine. It’s dry and crisp, with a hint of strawberry and tart cherry, floral notes, and a good deal of minerality. This one would make a great beach wine! $21
Made with 100% Garganega grapes, the Suavia Soave Classico is a lighter-style wine. Boasting notes of lemon, almond, and a slight spice on the finish, this crisp white would beautifully complement any seafood dish or grilled chicken. $16
Red wine fans, here’s our go-to summer Pinot for you! The Casillero Del Diablo is a fantastic light-bodied Pinot Noir from Chile. You’ll get lovely red fruit notes of strawberry, raspberry, and cherry, accompanied by a touch of acidity. This is a very accessible wine that pairs with almost any food, especially barbecue. $8
This is the ultimate sparkling if you’re hosting a summer brunch. Tott’s Brut Champagne is easy on the wallet and goes with everything … or nothing at all but a Champagne flute! Fruit-forward and semi-sweet, it’s sure to please a large crowd on a hot day. $8
