Instructions
Cake Batter
  1. Cream butter, brown sugar and sugar in a mixer with a paddle attachment on medium speed until fluffy & light in color
  2. Add egg and vanilla to butter mixture, incorporate, scrape bowl
  3. Sift together all purpose flour, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add to butter and egg mixture
  4. Incorporate buttermilk.
Pecan Coffee Cake Streusel Topping
  1. Combine all ingredients. Mix with a paddle attachment on medium speed until it looks like loose gravel
Pecan Coffee Cake
  1. Prepare 8” spring form pan, coating the inside with butter
  2. Pour cake batter into the pan
  3. Sprinkle with streusel topping
  4. Bake at 375 degrees F for approximately 30 minutes or until a toothpick comes out cleanly when inserted into the middle.
