Good Dog's Deli Dog with House Giardiniera
Ingredients
- 3 carrots, diced
- 1 cauliflower, diced
- 2 green bell peppers, diced
- 2 red bell peppers, diced
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. minced garlic
- 1/2 cup sliced fresno peppers
- 1 Tbsp. oregano
- 1 1/2 Tbsp. salt
- 1 Tbsp. red pepper flakes
- 3 1/2 cups Red Wine Vinegar
- 3 1/2 cups extra virgin olive oil
Hot Dogs
- 4-6 Hot Dogs of your choice
- 4-6 Buns of your choice
- 4-6 Slices of provolone cheese for garnish
- Mixed Greens for garnish
- Diced tomatoes for garnish
- Celery Salt for garnish
- Whole grain mustard for garnish
Instructions
House Giardiniera
- Combine carrots, cauliflower, and bell peppers in bowl. Add garlic, fresno peppers, oregano, salt, and red pepper flakes. Mix to combine.
- Add olive oil and red wine vinegar to cover veggies. Mix thoroughly and place in the refrigerator overnight. Will last several weeks in the refrigerator.
Hot Dog Assembly
- Melt provolone around hot dog, place in bun, and garnish.
