This is a delicious tomato sauce with a bit of spice and lots of flavor. You can serve it over spaghetti, penne pasta or whatever style noodles you like.
Saute garlic in olive oil till golden. Add peppers and mushrooms. Pour in white white and let simmer for a few minutes. Add Kalamatas and capers. Simmer for one minute then add tomato sauce. Add cooked pasta to sauce pan and then serve. Serves 2.
- 2 T Olive oil
- 3 cloves Garlic, chopped
- 1 T Capers
- Kalamata olives
- 1/2 Green bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 Red bell pepper, chopped
- 1/2 c Crimini mushrooms, sliced
- Salt to taste
- 1/2 c White wine
- 1 Small jar tomato sauce (about 1 cup)
- Pinch Red pepper flakes
