Sweeten your breakfast with jam made from the freshest, all natural ingredients. You can make this delightful strawberry jam the night before and delight your family the next morning. This delicious jam is served at Francesca’s Brunch at the fabulous Westin La Cantera. Try it with fresh Poteet strawberries!
Place all ingredients in a sauté pan over medium heat and cook down until berries are one quarter of there size. The small amount of butter reduces foam from forming on the jam and the lemon juice adds tartness and acidity which brings out the natural flavors of the berries.
Chill and serve with any combinations of breads or desserts. Enjoy!

- 1 tsp – Butter
- 1 half - Lemon Juice
