Apple Almond Oatmeal
Oatmeal. It’s good for you, it’s delicious…and it’s one of the heartiest breakfasts you can have. In honor of Nationional Oatmeal Month, enjoy some this January!
Ingredients
- 2 cups old-fashioned oatmeal not instant
- 1 cup low-fat milk
- 2 medium apples – cored and peeled and diced
- 1/2 cup crushed almonds
- 2 Tablespoons maple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Cinnamon
Instructions
- Oatmeal. It’s good for you, it’s delicious…and it’s one of the heartiest breakfasts you can have. In honor of Nationional Oatmeal Month, enjoy some this January!
- Cook oatmeal per package directions.
- Stir in the apple pieces, 3/4 of the nuts, cinnamon and maple syrup.
- Distribute oats among four bowls. Top with milk and remaining almonds.
