  • 16 oz  Filet of Beef – center cut, peeled and cubed
  • 6 oz  Fettuccine
  • 1 oz  chopped onions
  • 1  garlic clove, chopped
  • 1 oz  butter
  • 2 oz  heavy cream
  • 3 oz  Demi-glace
  • 1 oz  cognac
  • 2  mushroom caps, sliced
  • 2 teaspoon  sour cream
  • Salt and pepper
  • Chopped parsley

Recipe Info

  1. Boil water and cook the fettuccini al dente. In a frying pan, sauté together the butter and chopped garlic, stir. As the butter begins to bubble add the onions, sauté until golden brown. Add the Filet of Beef cubes, salt and pepper to taste, sauté until desired readiness. Add the cognac, allow to flambé. 

  1. Add the mushrooms and demi-glace, bring to simmer. Add the heavy cream. Add the Fettuccine. Bring the whole mixture to a simmer again. Divide the mix on two plates, placing one teaspoon of sour cream and a sprinkle of parsley on top of each plate. Serve and enjoy!
