These confetti shortbread cookies from the Trellis Spa the fabulous Houstonian Hotel are nothing short of excellent. For the best taste, grab’em right as they come out of the oven!
Method:
Rehydrate dried fruit in hot water. Drain well. Cream butter / sugar. Add flour. Add dried fruits for dough.
Press into 1″ x 1″ logs. Wrap in parchment and chill. Once chilled, cut bars 1/4″ thick squares and place on baking sheet with parchment. Bake @ 350 until golden 8 minutes.

- 9 oz Flour, Cake
- 1 oz Dried Currants
- 1 oz Dried Cherries
- 1 oz Golden Raisins
- 1 oz Orange Zest
