These confetti shortbread cookies from the Trellis Spa the fabulous Houstonian Hotel, Club & Spa are nothing short of excellent. For the best taste, grab'em right as they come out of the oven!


  • ½ # Butter
  • ¼ # Powdered Sugar
  • 9 oz Flour, Cake
  • 1 oz Dried Currants
  • 1 oz Dried Cherries
  • 1 oz Golden Raisins
  • 1 oz Orange Zest

Recipe Info

  1. Rehydrate dried fruit in hot water. Drain well. Cream butter / sugar. Add flour. Add dried fruits for dough.

  2. Press into 1" x 1" logs. Wrap in parchment and chill. Once chilled, cut bars 1/4" thick squares and place on baking sheet with parchment. Bake @ 350 until golden 8 minutes.
