Talk about a creamy, Christmastime creation! This recipe comes from Goodtaste viewer Elaine Van Buren. Her delicious homemade eggnog can be made sans the alcohol for the kiddos, or spiked just right for your next holiday gathering. Enjoy!


  • ½ gallon whole milk
  • ½ box powdered sugar
  • 8 eggs
  • 1 ½ cups dark rum
  • 1 ½ cups brandy
  • 1 pint heavy cream – whipped

Recipe Info

  1. Beat eggs on high speed until foamy, slowly adding the powdered sugar, about 5 minutes. Put in a large bowl and slowly stir in milk until blended; add rum and brandy, stirring well. Whip heavy cream til fluffy and add on top of eggnog. Sprinkle with cinnamon and serve. Keep refrigerated if not using immediately.
