Healthy, super quick cod fish tacos with an awesome homemade broccoli slaw from Trish of the Well Worn Fork.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb. (8 2oz fillets)  cod fish
  • 6 flour tortillas
  • 1 jalapeno, sliced (with or without seeds)
  • 2 C  broccoli slaw
  • ¼ C  mayonnaise
  • 1 tsp  sugar
  • 1 lime
  • ½ TBS  hot sauce
  • 1 TBS  mirin
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • cilantro, to garnish
  • sriracha, to taste
  • salt and pepper

Recipe Info

  1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees. Combine the broccoli slaw, mayonnaise, sugar, ½ of the lime juice, hot sauce, and mirin together in a bowl with salt and pepper.

  2. Season the fish with salt and pepper and put on a sheet tray. Cook in the oven for 5-10 minutes depending on thickness. Assemble the tacos on tortillas with cod, sliced jalapeno, slaw, sliced avocado, cilantro, sriracha, and a squeeze of the remaining lime juice.
