Ingredients

OH OH Cake:
  • 1/4 cup  cocoa
  • 1/3 cup  cake flour
  • 3  eggs
  • 2 egg yolks
  • 1/2 cup  sugar
  • 2 ounces  butter, melted and cooled
  • 1/2 tsp salt

OH OH Filling:
  • 1 lbs.  cream cheese
  • 1 cup  powdered sugar
  • 1/4 tsp  cinnamon
  • 1/4 tsp  salt

OH OH Glaze:
  • 1 lb  bittersweet chocolate
  • 12 oz  butter
  • 2 tbsp corn syrup
  • 5 tsp water

Recipe Info

For the OH OH Cake:
  1. Cook the yolks and sugar over a water bath until thick, and sugar is dissolved. Fold in all dry ingredients, and butter. Finish with salt. Bake at 450 degrees for 6-7 minutes, or until the cake springs back when touched. While still warm, turn the cake out onto a clean kitchen towel. Using the towel, roll the cake into a tight log, without breaking. Allow the cake to cool in the towel, and then unroll to fill.

For the OH OH Filling:
  1. Beat all ingredients together until smooth.

For the OH OH Gaze:
  1. Combine all ingredients in a bowl, and place over a pot of simmering water. Stir frequently until completely melted and combined.
