Welcome to Cotogna – a true rustic Italian experience located in historic Jackson Square in San Francisco. In a city where what you eat may be more scrutinized than most, native foodies can agree on one thing: There are some fabulous aromas coming from this restaurant!
San Francisco
History is Rich at the Westin St. Francis Hotel!
You’re about to experience one of my favorite cities on the entire planet – San Francisco! Every time I visit there’s only one place I ever stay…that’s the Westin St. Francis just off of Union Square. And trust me: I’ve been coming here a LONG time!
Flirt with Acquerello’s Tantalizing Valrhona Chocolate Mousse
On a recent trip to San Francisco, we dined at the noble Acquerello restaurant…an icon among Italian restaurants around the world. We concluded our meal with a dark chocolate creation that is simply one of the best chocolate desserts I’ve ever tasted…until now!
Our Visit to the #1 New Restaurant in America!
Wow…Houston’s very own Oxheart restaurant is named one of the ten best new restaurants in the entire country! How cool is that! The number one new spot that edged out Oxheart, according to Bon Appétit, is a very small neighborhood spot in one of my favorite cities.
Becker Wines Win
Becker Vineyards, always tops on my list, won 5 medals at the San Francisco International Wine Festival last week. Their ’08 Viognier and ’08 Syrah each won silver. Their ’07 Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon – Canada Vineyard took a bronze as did their ’07 Claret and ’08 Sauvignon Blanc.
"Really Goode Job" Pays $10,000 Per Month
Talk about a great gig! The Murphy-Goode Winery has a “really Goode Job” opening. The Sonoma County winery wants to find an ‘outgoing, web-savvy, articulate communicator’ to blog, Tweet and talk about Sonoma wines. The dream job pays ten grand a month for a six month contract that includes private housing in beautiful Healdsburg.
Mendocino Honeymoon
My husband and I were looking for a place to totally, completely get away. A place where we could forget about the crazy deadlines, details and demands of our jobs; a place we could reconnect with the outdoors and maybe even our creative side that often gets pushed aside in our busy lives.
